Love in the Eyes of Hurricanes
There was hatred when Hurricane A passed my heart.
I cried as he tried my strength.
I fell as his intensity increased.
Days had passed.
I tried to rebuild my dumped life with somebody.
He healed my lesion and damped my core’s pit.
The continents were witnesses of our romances.
Hearing one’s voice was already satisfying.
Both of us were keyed up before the end of the year.
Two days before Christmas season, a catastrophe had occurred.
Our borough faced the severity of Hurricane B.
Oust Hurricane!
You were Villager’s Foe!
You were my heart’s villain!
I wanted to shout my woe but I preferred to be tough.
Nature’s bleakness to my folks became my vigor.
But unconsciously, my potency was sought by an unknown rescue man.
I rejected him with one reason; a hurricane might set us apart.
Three days before the New Year’s Eve,
I cried my saga’s misfortunes and asked God’s sign.
Like a thunderstorm, He answered my prayer.
The man I declined returned and lodged as my lamp on Hurricane C night.
